A celebration of nature, Rann Utsav is where the eye soothing views embrace infinite horizons.

Rann Utsav started as a three-day celebration continuously developed into a 100-day festivity at Dhordo, a town close to Rann of Kutch where an entirely different makeshift camp has been made, loaded with impermanent framework fabricated and revamped consistently.

Rann Utsav is one of the most successful tourism events of India, which celebrates the marvels of nature at the White Desert and the rich cultural and artistic heritage of Kutch. The concept of Rann Utsav was envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the then Chief Minister of Gujarat.

It is the popular festivals celebrated in Dhordo, a village of Kutch, Gujarat. The area where the festival is celebrated is spread over 5,00,000 sq. mt. The elegant full moon nights give a special landscape and surreal embellishment to this festival as well. The Annual Rann Utsav event offers to visit the Great Rann of Kutch, the area of white desert lies in India-Pakistan border. There are various handicrafts and outdoor activities offered in the carnival those make it a perfect holiday destination.

This is a festival that runs for more than 3 months. The Rann Utsav gloriously unites cultural performance, natural beauty of Kutch and various forms of art. Apart from these, the incredible evening and full moon night view of the sun is a unique look of this festival.
